Flatback Care Guide

Flatbacks are designed for everyday comfort. They sit softly against the ear, stay secure without pressure, and are ideal for wearing day and night. A little care keeps them looking beautiful for longer.

Daily Wear

Flatbacks don’t need tightening throughout the day. Simply ensure the back is screwed on comfortably and leave it as it is. Avoid unnecessary twisting or pulling.

Cleaning

Once a week, soak your earrings in warm water with a small amount of gentle soap. Wipe the post and front with a soft cloth, then rinse and dry fully before wearing again. This helps maintain shine and prevents buildup.

Showering & Sleeping

It is safe to shower and sleep in your flatbacks. After showering, rinse them with clean water to keep the surface free from residue.

Gym & Activity

Flat backs handle daily movement well. After intense activity or sweating, giving them a quick clean will help keep them fresh.

Storage

If you remove your earrings, store them in a dry jewellery box or in their Celestial pouch. Keep pieces separate to prevent scratches on the stones.

For New Piercings

Flatbacks should only be worn in fully healed piercings. For fresh piercings, always follow the aftercare provided by your piercer.

Maintaining Shine

Avoid spraying perfume directly on your jewellery. Keep away from chlorine, strong chemicals, and alcohol-based cleaners. Regular gentle cleaning keeps your stones bright.
